Our 3.5 tonne Citroën Relay horsebox provides a safe, comfortable and practical way to transport your horse, whether you’re heading to a show, an event, the vets or simply need transport for the day.

Easy to drive and suitable for a standard UK car driving licence, it’s available for flexible self-drive hire from our base in Budby, Nottinghamshire.

Designed for Horse & Driver

The horse area is spacious and well ventilated, with vented windows and a roof fan to help keep your horse comfortable while travelling.

For extra peace of mind, the horsebox is fitted with two cameras – a reversing camera to make manoeuvring easier and an internal camera so you can keep an eye on your horse during the journey.

Our self-drive hire includes fully comprehensive insurance, breakdown cover and equine rescue, giving you extra reassurance while you’re out on the road.

Hire is available for half days, full days, weekends and longer periods, subject to availability and driver eligibility.

Self Drive Horsebox Hire Requirements

To hire a horsebox the hirer must over 25 and under 70 years of age and must have held a UK or EU Driving Licence for at least two years with no more than 6 points on the licence.
